Meet the Makers - Linda from Eleven44

In our third post introducing the awesome folk whose treasures we bring to you, we'd like you to meet Linda, the creative genius behind Eleven44. We love Linda's leggings, 3/4 pants and crash cushions because they are made ethically from 100% organic super soft cotton, engineered for comfort, super flattering and made with the fiercest prints around.

Linda, where in the world are you based?

I'm in Bali, Indonesia.

What was your motivation for starting Eleven44?

I never intended really to start a business!  I was a part of the West Coast (USA) underground music festival community in the mid 2000's and we would DIY all our clothes and costumes, and that's how it began.  As time went by my style changed a lot and my current collection reflects my own personal style change as well as the honing of my values.  What started as a hobby became an effort to provide eco clothing to discerning consumers who care about more than just some cute, inexpensive looks.  Besides that, I have always made clothes because as a larger lady I always struggled to find things that fit me properly but that were cool and edgy - larger clothes are usually not sexy or cool but rather frumpy!  I don't believe that being bigger means you need to sacrifice style.  So I made clothes that were cool that fit me properly.  Other people seemed to like it too :)

What do you hope that people who buy your brand will enjoy about it most?

I hope that people really feel a sense of care and love in the things I make - that there is thoughtfulness and consideration in every part of what I do - from the fabrics I choose, to the shapes I make, to the prints and patterns - all of it has meaning and has been carefully considered to bring the best I can in terms of quality, value, ethics, practicality, longevity and style.

What do you think about Eleven44 being made available to the neurodivergent community?

I love this!  I am so happy to support! I understand sensitivity!!

Get yourself some of Linda's leggings, 3/4 pants or a crash cushion in her code or triangle print and celebrate all things cool and edgy!
